Tour of the Easter Bush Veterinary Center

So I had an official tour of the Easter Bush Veterinary center today. The place is quite large and there is A LOT of construction going on right now. Lucky for me, I came just in time that I will be enjoying brand new buildings for 3 years. Woohoo! Unfortunately, they don't have digital radiography. What am I ever going to do! I have been spoiled with digital! Does this mean I have to develop film again? Ugghhh! Anyway, the facilities are very nice at the center. Here are some pictures from the visit. Not much more went on today, I have been inside ever since 2pm. It was raining quite a bit today. I was going to walk to Rosslyn Chapel today (3 mile walk from the veterinary center) but opted against doing so because it was raining so much. I'm thinking that decision was a smart choice. Otherwise, I would have been soaking wet in the rain. Well, off to write articles. Talk with you all soon! Don't forget to try and get Skype so I can talk with you eventually.

Dan, Sounds like you are keeping busy. We did not do the THR today, just an FHO. The hip was so badly luxated that the bone probably would not have held the implants. We may get a chance to fix the opposite side. Thanks for the call and all the labels. I was trying to forget you. Guess that won't happen. Cheers. I missed you in surgery. Dr. Bill

I like the pics today - very cool.

So where's the best place for me to get one of those thingies I need to Skype? Best Buy? Talk to you later!

Bummer! At least you may get a chance to do the other side. I tried to inundate your desk with more labels, but ran out of time. Are you kidding me? You're not going to be able to forget about me that easy! I will make that impossible. I missed being in surgery, I was surgically deprived yesterday :(
Well, hope you are sleeping well right now, I just woke up and everybody there just went to bed not too long ago. Cheers mate!

Tanya, you can buy the camera at Best Buy I think for around $25 or so.

Loved the pictures Dan! Can't wait to tour the center with you. It seems like yesterday we were there on our adventure. Sighhhhhhhhhhh.
Hope your blisters are well into the healing process. (Because I predict you will be walking many more kilometers in the near future!) The Easter Bush facility looks very modern and state of the art. Too bad about the digital radiography. I am sure it is in their near future plans.
Brownie says hello, and to tell you I have been compliant with his chicken toothpaste routine. Arghhhhhh. Hope you have an interesting day tomorrow. I look forward to your updates and pics.
Love you, Mom
